Rev. Mary Ruffin Jamison was born in Sussex County, Virginia. She was educated in the Prince George County Public Schools System. She is married to David Lee Jamison of Hopewell, Virginia and they reside in Chesterfield County. They have two adult children: Kelly (son) and LaKeesha.
Rev. Jamison received her B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Special Education from Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia. She received her Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in May 2008. She retired from Chesterfield County Public Schools in 2011 after 30 years of teaching.
In 1992, Rev. Jamison joined Bethesda Baptist Church. She was licensed to preach the Gospel in July 2006 and ordained to the Gospel Ministry in June 2008. She currently serves as the Minister of Evangelism (REACH Ministry).
The most important consideration in Rev. Jamison’s life is that she is a born-again, spirit-filled Christian who loves the LORD and will do whatever and go wherever He will have her to go. One of her favorite scripture verses is Romans 8:28—“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose!”
“IT’S ALL GOOD!!!”
